Dr. Priscilla Mtungwa Ndlovu, Ph. D., Founder & Executive Director

Priscilla Mtungwa Ndlovu is the Founder and Executive Director of Amantombazana. Priscilla’s lived experiences under colonial rule and patriarchal society propelled the formation of Amantombazana. She is passionate about girl education and desires to give back to the community through providing equal educational opportunities to the underprivileged communities.

Priscilla has several years’ experience working for international nongovernmental organizations in Africa and the United States. She holds a Bachelor Business Studies Degree from the University of Zimbabwe, a Master of Public Administration from Southeastern University, Washington DC, and a PhD in Organizational Leadership from Eastern University, PA.

She is author of a popular scholarly book, Discovering the Spirit of Ubuntu Leadership, Compassion, Community and Respect.

Busani Ntini, Admin and Finance Officer

Busani, originally from Bulawayo, is now a Senior Lead Auditor within the Risk and Review Group for a U.S. based regional bank ranked in the top 30 largest banks in the United States. He has over 14 years of external and internal audit experience; nine years with  PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) working primarily in the Consumer and Industrial Products and Services, Investment Management Firms, Mining and Construction, Not-For-Profit, High Education, Healthcare Providers and other public company audits. He also worked at a regional public accounting firm as an internal audit manager and for a gas and utility company as a senior internal auditor. He is currently working for a regional bank as a senior lead auditor.

Busani is a Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) and a member of the Institute of Internal Auditors and Association of Certified Fraud Examiners. He has a Bachelor of Science in Accounting.

Mbonisi Masilela, IT Consultant

Mbonisi Masilela is a technology professional with 15 years of experience in the insurance industry.

He has a Master’s degree in Computer Science from Virginia Commonwealth University. He is a native of Bulawayo, Zimbabwe, and currently resides in Virginia with his family.

Rebecca Rodrigues Masilela, Marketing Advisor

Rebecca has 12+ years of experience in marketing and advertising. She is the Director of Account Management at a leading DC-area marketing and technology company.

Rebecca knows the value of having strong female role models, gender equality and education. Being from a developing nation herself, Rebecca is an advocate for women’s equality and empowerment.

Albert Ndlovu

Albert Ndlovu is Inspection & Owner Services Manager at Seattle Housing Authority (SHA) an independent public authority that provides, through a variety of programs, long term low-income rental housing and rental assistance to approximately 35,000 people, representing more than 17,000 households, in the City of Seattle. Prior to this, he held a similar position at the Office of Housing & Community Development, Prince William County, Virginia.

Mr. Ndlovu has held several managerial positions in Bulawayo, Zimbabwe. He is former managing director of Bulawayo Municipal Commercial Undertaking t/a Ingwebu Breweries, operations manager at Bulawayo Bottlers, and business studies lecturer-in-charge at the Bulawayo Polytechnic.

He holds a BA (Accounting major) from Dillard University, New Orleans, USA, MBA from the National University of Science and Technology (NUST) in Bulawayo, Zimbabwe, and MPA from George Mason University, Fairfax, Virginia, USA.

Sam Sabelo Gasela-Mhlanga, Ph. D.

Dr. Sam Sabelo Gasela-Mhlanga is a minister of religion, and currently pastor of Bread of Life International Fellowship in Kent, WA. The fellowship is affiliated with the Northwest Baptist Convention, a regional network of more than 500 churches across Oregon, Washington and North Idaho.

Dr. Gasela-Mhlanga is originally from Zimbabwe where he was pastor, planted a number of churches and also performed diverse church administrative duties.  He holds a Bachelor of Divinity/Education from Africa University, Zimbabwe and Master’s in Educational Administration, Planning and Policy Studies from Zimbabwe Open University, Harare, Zimbabwe.

From Zimbabwe, he migrated to the United States where he graduated with a Master of Divinity from Puritan Reformed Theological Seminary, Grand Rapids, Michigan and a Doctorate from the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville Kentucky.

Patience Malaba

Patience Malaba serves as the Director of Government Relations and Policy, at the Housing Development Consortium (HDC) of Seattle-King County. HDC is an association dedicated to advancing advocacy policy priorities and programs that help meet King County's housing affordability needs.

Prior to joining HDC, she worked for Futurewise and Seattle for Everyone on promoting equitable, environmentally sound housing, and land-use policies. She serves on the Puget Sound Regional Council (PSRC)’s Growth Management Policy Board as an alternate. She also currently serves on the Seattle Planning Commission and is the 2020 winner of the Bullitt Environmental Fellowship Award.

Patience holds a Master of Public Administration from Seattle University, an Organizational Leadership Certificate from George Mason University and a Bachelor of Social Science in International Development Studies from Lupane State University.
